About He

I'm Christian Cody, a director and photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work lives at the intersection of art, culture, and identity—rooted deeply in the richness of my environment and the nuanced beauty of the Black experience and beyond. I view the camera not just as a tool, but as a conduit for storytelling—one that allows me to celebrate, affirm, and expand the visual narrative of beauty in all its forms.

Since earning my BFA in Photography from SCAD in 2016, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a range of creative partners—from cultural collectives like See In Black and agencies such as Art Partner, to global brands including H&M, Nike, and Meta. My work has been published and recognized in major outlets like Vogue, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, In-Style, and New York Magazine, among others.

Two men stand in front of a photography backdrop in a studio. One man is taller and dressed in a white shirt and dark pants, while the other is shorter, with curly hair, a beard, and is wearing a blazer over t-shirt and pants. The shorter man is smiling with arms crossed, and the taller man has his hand on the shorter man's shoulder.
